Farewell Capt'n Clint

Last week was the memorial service & burial for Clint.  We took a boat ride out for the burial at sea and it was actually quite amazing.  I wasn't quite sure what to expect but, it was very nice to remember him and his life.  He was such a great man, an eternal optimist, with an amazing sense of humor, truly the life of the party.  I have to share my favorite memory: A week before he passed away, Tyler and I were getting him ready for bed and he was really on one that night. He kept telling us how he was seriously considering going down to the Sit N' Sleep in the morning to buy a brand new king size mattress {we'll just say he was less than thrilled with the hospital bed}.  But then he motions to Tyler to come closer and waving his finger around says, "Tyler, I am going to put you into my will". Tyler wasn't sure how to respond and said, "Alright Clint, what for?"  And then Clint looks Tyler straight in the eye in all seriousness and says, "Tyler, I'm going to leave you my catheter."  It was hysterical...we could not stop laughing, yet another great memory we will treasure.  I just wanted to share a little about him since he has been such a huge part of our life since we moved.
We'll always remember Capt'n Clint.

Reading your anecdote about Clint and what he wanted to give Ty in his will shows a great sense of humor indeed! But did he leave you something in the end? What was his "job" before he retired then? When you talk of a burial at sea, do you mean he was really "buried" in the sea? We had this in Tahiti for a famous man, Paul Emile Victor a few years ago.
