So, Has anyone braved the crowds and seen this yet? I am curious to know how it is. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth going to see in the theatre or if I should just wait until it comes out? What are your thoughts? Anyone? Anyone?

I say wait till it comes out. It was sooo long and I felt like it dragged a little too much! Not a lot of action like usual, more about his feelings and emotions.
in France it's much appreciated though and yes it's got less action than the previous ones and more "psycho" but the special effects are great.
But what do you mean by "is it worth going to see in the theatre or wait til it comes out?" don't you see it in the theatre WHEN it comes out?
Lots of love from France Nat and Ty!
danielle-it means when the movie comes out on video or dvd and you can rent it. it's one of those terms that doesn't literally mean what it says. thanks for always checking my blog. I hope all is well.
Chloe and I went. I didn't think it was amazing but it's entertaining enough.
oh I see Nat! Thanks for answering so fast! And in the USA you can already rent the DVD? In France it comes out on DVD a VERY long time after the movie has come out in theatres... I will go and see it when it comes in English (with, unfortunately, French subtitles...) here. I want to see Ratatouille too but it's still not on here... Sigh! Yes all is well and today the Tour de France is very close to Aix! Maybe you can see it on your tv channels! Love from hot Aix!
Hey- we just saw it on a Monday night with my ten year old step son (almost eleven, he reminds me), and we really enjoyed it a ton. More than the other ones, for me at least. And try in the middle of the week, there was hardly anyone there!
My opinion is so important so here it goes:
Amanda and I went to see it the day it opened and the crowds aren't so bad. This was one of my favorite books of the series (so far) and one of the more frustrating. The movie cuts a lot out--if you know the book, and it's shorter than any of the other HP movies. I think they're really entertaining movies and I liked it, but it's by no means an "if-you-don't-see-it-in-the-movie-theater-you're-missing-out" kind of a movie. bottom line: if you're in the mood and want to go, go. No need to plan a special outing for the flick.
It was nice to finally meet you last night at Chelsea's.
It was okay Nat Snat, but it was a little fragmented...they could not fit all the details from the book into the movie, so it did not feel like the story developed very well. Chris did not like it because he thought that Harry had PMS the whole movie...
